Here are a few of the creative people behind the scenes at Static Factory Media

Amani Loutfy  

Amani Ellen Loutfy
Public Relations Director

Amani brings to Static Factory Media 7 years sales experience including high-tech executive level sales experience with Fortune 500/1000 companies. She has internet savvy with a deep understanding of web publishing and internet technologies, strong analytical skills and understanding of new business models and sales processes. She has worked with such companies as Pyramid Brewery, iCopyright.com, Warranty and Financial Products, INC. and Bill Graham Presents in executive positions ranging from Director of Sales and Marketing to Promotions Coordinator. This, coupled with her extensive experience in Seattle’s music industry, makes her an ideal addition to the Static Factory Media team.

Chris Airola

Chris Airola
CTO

Chris received a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University. He worked at the University of Washington Human Interface Technology Lab from 1996 - 2001 as a Research Engineer, where he developed and managed projects involving wearable computers, driving simulators, surgery simulators, interactive home networks, and 8 channel audio systems. He has exhibited some of his multi-modal interactive art installations in the Whitney Museum of American Art (New York City, NY), the Bellevue Art Museum (Bellevue, WA), Burning Man, Cornish College of the Arts (Seattle, WA), the University of Washington, and many Seattle area clubs.

Connor Cunliffe

Connor G. Cunliffe
CAO (Chief Artistic Officer)

Connor Cunliffe grew up in Denver, Co. where he learned the guitar and began work as a musician. Moving on with his career in the entertainment industry, he got a job as a soundboard technician for End of the Line (a U.F.O. sightings talk show) and the Ken Hamblin syndicated talk show. While actively participating in many arts organizations, he joined the Clear Channel Corporation as a soundboard technician, and remote sound broadcasting engineer for stations such as KTCL, KRFX, and KBPI. Shortly thereafter, Connor moved to Seattle, where his Performance Company, Tribalicious debuted at the University District nightclub, the Rain Dancer. Tribalicious also produced at the Fremont UNconventional Center. With the fortunate meetings with Randy Engstrom of Stronghold Collective, and Chris Airola of Pyrosutra, Connor is now involved with Static Factory and will continue his involvement in the arts around the world.

Luara Moore

Luara Moore
Art and Education Director

Luara received her BA in Nonprofit Administration and Art from the Evergreen State College. She has worked as an administrator, educator and designer for various nonprofits and arts groups over the past 7 years. Luara became a designer in response to a need within community development and social justice efforts she has been involved in. Her design work has become a staple amongst artists and activists in and around Seattle. She has worked with such organizations as the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center, Fred Finch Youth Center, Artworks, Arts Corps, and the Olympia Community Youth Services Department. Luara came to Static Factory Media from a position curating a local youth art gallery in Downtown, Seattle. In 2001 she helped form Stronghold LLC, a group of artists who collectively buy and build out property for sustainable artist live/work space.

Matt Conlon

Matt Conlon
Director of Marketing

Matt grew up outside Seattle where he always had an interest in advertising and media. He attended Seattle University and the University of Washington, where he split his time between journalism and creative writing focus, and working on the advertising staff of his school newspaper. Matt has won awards from CYNBAM, and NAA for copywriting, and has written print and copy for a range of Seattle businesses. Matt is a member of the Stronghold Arts Collective, a group of artists who collectively buy and build out property for sustainable artist live/work space.

Randy Engstrom

Randy Engstrom
CEO

Randy grew up outside Chicago, IL where he developed a passion for music and eventually becoming program director of his high school radio station WNTH. He moved to Olympia, WA to attend TESC, where he split his time between community organizing, and an academic focus on political economy and community business. Randy began DJing in 1996, and sparked an interest for independent politically-minded music. This led to being an Assistant Music Director, and eventually Program Director, of KAOS. Randy received is B.A in promotions and public affairs in 1999. He got a job at World Wide Broadcasting shortly after moving to Seattle in 2000. Originally hired as the urban music director, he later became the music director. In 2001 he helped form Stronghold LLC, a group of artists who collectively buy and build out property for sustainable artist live/work space. Also in 2001, he was hired as Program Manager of the Fremont Unconventional Centre, organizing a wide range of events for non-profit, arts, and private groups. His love of community and networking, as well as progressive and collaborative nature has brought him to Static Factory.
